Entry-level Structural Engineering Field
Technician Needed:
Salary $24-27K per Year

Responsibilities:
- Accurately gather, process, and report on-site characteristics and foundation technical data obtained from job sites.
- Reports are to be presented to Unit Senior Engineer for final approval.
- Occasionally required to enter a confined space to inspect beneath a structure.
- About 20-30% of your time you will be in the field collecting site data such as foundation elevation measurements, and taking soil samples and photographs.
We will train you in our methods.
How to:
- Collect and enter data in our report-templates.
- Draw conclusions on the site data.
- Assist with technical (CAD) drawings when required.
Job Requirements:
- B.S. or Associate degree in Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or other scientific discipline.
- Proficiency in speaking English.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Professional Appearance / Demeanor.
- Ability to interact with others and team oriented.
- Must supply your own vehicle. Mileage and expenses are reimbursed. Most job sites are in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
- 0-2 years of experience.
Background in the following a plus.
- Understanding of construction methods and plumbing systems.
- AutoCAD.
- Contouring/Topography.
- Proficiency in PC Applications such as MS Office.
